Instrument display, overview



The instrument display is fully dynamic and the appearance of the instrument display depends on which instrument view you have selected.The instrument views are a number of pre-defined views, each tailored to give you the right information in a particular situation. All instrument views contain essential information such as the speedometer, but the additional content varies.

Home view

Home view is the default instrument view that you always have available.

Focus view

In the instrument view Focus, only the most necessary information is shown, letting you focus on the road.

To toggle between the instrument views, shift focus to the instrument display and use the Up key and Down key on the steering wheel keypad.

To quickly return to the Home view, press the Home key on the steering wheel keypad.

Home view

  1. Symbols related to, for example, outside temperature, lighting and safety systems.
  2. Direction indicator.
  3. Speedometer.
  4. Cruise control.
  5. Gauges or presentation area for vehicle messages.
  6. Symbols related to, for example, warnings, brakes and battery.
  7. Instrument view indicator.
  8. Dynamic widget for clock, infotainment or traction.
  9. Trip meter and odometer.
  10. AdBlue gauge.
  11. Gearbox and auxiliary brake.
  12. Tachometer.
  13. Symbols and messages related to, for example, alarm, maintenance and parking climate.
  14. Diesel gauge.
  15. Tachograph and clock.
  16. Fuel data.

Focus view

  1. Symbols related to, for example, outside temperature, lighting and safety systems.

Managing instrument views

In the Instrument view menu, you can select which instrument views that should be available when you toggle and in which order they should appear.You find the Instrument view menu in the instrument display.

Manage your instrument views:

  • If an instrument view is already assigned to a view in the list, and you want to change it, select Replace.
  • If you want to remove a view from the list, select Hide.
  • To assign an instrument view to an empty view, select Select view. 

Your settings are saved when you exit the menu.
